The Saalerwirt is one of the oldest inns in South Tyrol. Our originally preserved Stuben with tiled stoves form the traditional setting for a balanced and natural cuisine. As a gourmet hotel and part of the Locande Sudtirolesi group, we dedicate ourselves daily with passion and the credo “of all that is simple only the best” to this high-quality country house cuisine, which we constantly reinterpret.

Our gourmet half-board focuses on the best local products. Vegetables and herbs are partly from our own and from regional cultivation. The daily fresh eggs as well as our meat are from our own farm or are sourced from small producers in the immediate vicinity.
Enjoy our homemade bread, the many homemade cakes and baked goods, jams, compotes, syrups & juices and much more.

Quality, organic content and animal welfare are particularly important to us. Enjoy first-class organic, seasonal products that are simply better and taste better.
We love what we do for you! Allow us to look after you.

Excellent cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.

Good things taste even better when they are surrounded by beauty. Enjoy our alpine cuisine in the atmosphere of old Swiss pine clad Zirmstuben heated with tiled stoves or our winter garden/veranda and sun terrace.

Being down-to-earth is the art of saying it all with just a few words.

The Saalerwirt has been serving its guests with passion since 1587.
And even today it is no secret that our inn is loved and appreciated in the region and by our hotel guests.

Historical and culinary treasures.

Dear guests:

Enjoy vegetarian dishes accompanied by a “INSRIGS” Märzen beer from Batzen Bräu, brewed especially for us.

Enjoy the taste of fresh garden vegetable, aromatic herbs and freshly picked fruit. Notice the difference with the mushrooms
from our forests, pastry dishes prepared with our own free-range eggs, meat from our own farm.

In the afternoon why not enjoy our homemade cakes with a cappuccino or a fragrant herbal tea

Our small historic wine cellar is a very special place that has been mentioned in the records as early as 1587. Solid stone walls and the old wooden beams tell of centuries of history.
Breathe in this history at the weekly wine tastings of South Tyrolean wines with wine lover and sommelier Gabriel Tauber.

Farm to table is our way of living sustainability. We and our guests appreciate the traceability of our products. Experience where food comes from on our farm and in our vegetable, herb and flower garden and orchards.
