Welcome to Saalerwirt, your guesthouse in Sares.
Our guesthouse is embedded in a romantic setting only a stone's throw from the pilgrimage church in Sares. Once, this was a very busy area, when the only road to Val Badia led directly past the house. Today, this is a quiet and romantic place on earth.
Our restaurant spoils your palate. Mr. Tauber and his team spoil you with
special South Tyrolean and Mediterranean dishes. We mainly use
products from our own farm, vegetables and herbs from our garden, eggs and meat from our own animals. Everything we can produce ourselves is home-made: jams, compote, cakes and more. For everything we buy we always strive to get products from the region and organic products.
The delicious meals are served in the wood-panelled pine rooms called
"Stube", in the light-flooded veranda, and on the
sun terrace.
Meal times:
- Lunch 12 to 2 p.m.
- Afternoon cake and cold dishes
- Dinner 6.30 to 8.30 p.m.
- Closed on Tuesdays; during high season open all days
